TV Opportunity: Opening a New Restaurant Soon?

The Food Network is currently in production on their new TV series about first time restaurant owners. In every episode of the show restaurant consultant and renowned chef David Adjey swoops in and assists the restaurant owner and his/her team get ready and geared up for their big opening. At this point we are casting for the show and looking for first time owners that can use some professional help with their opening. We’d love to come to Atlanta shoot a couple of episodes.

Here’s a guideline from the casting flier of what type of restaurants we’re after:

  1. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE IS A FIRST TIME RESTAURANT OWNER THAT WILL BE OPENING WITHIN 1-6 MONTHS.
  2. THE RESTAURANT CAN NOT BE A CHAIN OR FRANCHISE
  3. THE RESTAURANT MUST BE FULL SERVICE (NO DELIS,BAKERIES, TAKE OUT ETC….)
  4. THE RESTAURANT MUST SERVE ALCOHOL
  5. THE RESTAURANT MUST HAVE AT LEAST 30 SEATS
  6. THE OWNER WANTS/NEEDS THE HELP OF A RESTAURANT CONSULTANT
  7. THE OWNER IS A GREAT CHARACTER AND HAS OTHER PEOPLE HELPING HIM.
  8. THE OWNER MUST BE WILLING TO DIVULGE THE RESTAURANT BUDGET ON CAMERA
  9. THE OWNER MUST BE OPEN TO HAVING US SHOOT IN THE RESTAURANT FOR APPROXIMATELY 10 DAYS
